David Verran will be speaking on "Early Northcote History" including the history of the Catholic Church. This will be another interesting afternoon. There will be a door charge of $2 to cover costs.
Sunday 17th October - Museum 2pm - Book Launch

This is the day which we have all been waiting for..... We are launching our book - Life, Laughter and Love in the Early Years. The book contains 38 stories written by our members and other local people about life in Birkenhead in earlier times. It has many photographs and is fully indexed. The books will be available at only $10 each. Make sure that you come and get your copy. There will also be afternoon tea. If you cannot attend this special afternoon and wish to order a copy, please contact Glad (483-7545).
